IT MAY CAUSE SPARKS TO PLUG-IN OR REMOVE THE POWER CORD WHEN THE POWER IS SWITCHED ON

It is recommended not to plug the power cord in, or remove it, when the power is switched on to avoid sparks. Before installing or removing the power cord, please ensure the power switch is turned off.

2.1. Product Overview

The Power Station is a combination of a single-phase pure sine inverter and a large-capacity lithium battery pack.

The Power Station uses the internal battery to invert and output 220/110V (AC) alternating current, while simultaneously being able to output 12V and 5V (DC) direct current.

If there is no utility power available to recharge the Power Station, the unit can be charged by means of a 12V car charger port or a solar panel (12V car charger and solar panels not included).

Power Station’s ‘robust’ durability, portability and longer charge retention times makes it ideal for a wide range of portable power needs. From outdoor living, to households, to businesses, Power Station delivers reliable backup power when you need it.

4.1. Precautions for the positioning of Power Station during usage.
  1. Ensure that the area is well ventilated where the Power Station is used.
  2. Ensure the Power Station is away from water, flammable gas, corrosives and/or other dangerous materials.
  3. Do not put the Power Station on its side as this could prevent free airflow. Ensure the air inlet on the front panel, the air outlet on the rear cover, and the air outlet on the side of the box are unobstructed.
  4. If the Power Station is moved from a low to a high-temperature environment, e.g. from a cold outdoor to a warm indoor environment, condensation may form on the unit. To avoid the danger, wait until the unit has returned to room temperature, and there is absolutely no condensation, before using.
5.1. Component Description
  1. Master Switch and AC charging
    • Push the Master switch ‘up’ to turn the Power Station on. The unit is now ready to output 12V and 5V DC and 220/110V inverted AC power.
    • When not in use, ensure that the Power Station is turned off to avoid draining power from the battery.
    • During transportation, the master switch should be in the ‘off’ or ‘down’ position.
    • The Master switch must be in the ‘up’ position to charge the battery when connected to the Lithium-ion charger and an AC power input from the wall.

Note: Although the battery is fully charged before leaving the factory, the power could be lost during transportation and storage. It is recommended that the battery is charged for more than 5 hours before using the inverter for the first time.

  2. DC output switch.
    • The DC output switch controls the 12V DC and the USB 5V DC output.
    • Push the DC output switch to turn it on – the switch will light up when on. Press again to turn it off.
  3. AC output switch
    • The AC output switch controls the 220/110V AC output.
    • Press the AC output switch to turn on the power supply – the switch will light up when on. Press again to power it off.
  4. 12V DC charging
    • The Power Station can be charged by means of a 12V charging port from a car or similar source, or by means of a solar panel by plugging in the charging cable to the 12V charging port. Charging will start immediately when the source is connected.
    • For BR500 and BR1000, all the charging methods share a same charging port.
  5. 12V Big Current DC Output (Optional)
    • The big current DC output (positive and negative electrodes) can be used to jump start cars if necessary. Connect the Power Station electrodes to the car battery, making sure that the black and red electrodes connect to the respective colours on the car battery. Start the car.
